Diode and Moonbeam Collaborate on DePIN Platform for Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)

Diode partners with Moonbeam to deploy suite of blockchain communication solutions that align with Polkadot founder Gavin Woods’ original vision for Web3

ROSEBURG, Ore. and SINGAPORE, January 30, 2024 – Diode, the innovation leader in Zero Trust Network Access software, and Moonbeam Network, a smart contract platform for building cross-chain connected applications, today announced a partnership to deploy a suite of blockchain-enabled secure communication solutions.

Diode’s approach uses DePIN, or “Decentralized Physical Infrastructure,” where blockchain protocols choreograph real-world infrastructure in an autonomous and decentralized manner. Diode’s massively scalable secure communication platform, which includes solutions for messaging, storage, and web tunneling, helps to bring about the original vision for Web3 created by Gavin Woods, the co-founder of Ethereum and founder of Polkadot.

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently referenced Woods’ vision for Web3, where Ethereum is more than “Bitcoin plus smart contracts,” but becomes a foundation for a “public decentralized shared hard drive.” Conversely, as Buterin describes, today’s Internet users’ data gets routed through centralized servicers run by entities that have the arbitrary power to monitor, censor, and deplatform. Diode’s DePIN solution addresses these issues by providing a secure, trustless, and decentralized medium for people and companies to communicate.
